The Tesla Model S has benefited from constant revisions throughout its life cycle, but its looks have stayed almost exactly the same since it was introduced in 2012. That finally changes with an update for the 2017 Model S that brings it in line with the recently revealed Model 3 sedan and the Model X crossover. Gone is the faux front grille, which is replaced by a new front fascia with slightly reshaped headlights and a sleeker, more streamlined look.








Tesla also claims increased driving range for the 90D and P90D models but doesn’t cite any mechanical changes that account for the improved numbers. The 90D, with its 90-kWh battery, improves from 270 miles to 294 miles on a full charge, while the P90D sees range go from 253 miles to 270 miles. These numbers haven’t yet been published on the EPA’s website, although Tesla’s own site says they’re EPA-official

The Autopilot feature of Tesla Model S make its uniqueness in the market. The Autopilot feature is very responsive. This feature allows Model S to park and unpark itself, open and close door automatically and can sense the parking space.

Nissan is proud of its GT-R’s hand-built engines, and has released a rather excellent gallery of images to celebrate one of the car’s lesser-known boasts. We saw it as a great opportunity to round up the best GT-R facts and technological features. Some you may know, some you may not. Here are the ten most interesting things about the Nissan GT-R…
The GT-R is the world’s fastest accelerating production four-seater
The Nissan GT-R can accelerate from 0-60 in just 2.8sec, placing it alongside hypercar royalty such as the McLaren P1 and Ferrari LaFerrari. It even matches the ultra-lightweight Caterham 620R despite weighing three times as much. And on an open stretch of tarmac the Nissan would have the clear advantage, with its 193mph top speed helping it easily blast away from a 155mph 620R.
It’s the fastest four-seat production car around the Nurburgring
Incredibly, the GT-R recently lapped the Ring in 7m18.6s, which is 1.3sec quicker than Chevrolet’s fastest production Corvette, the C6 ZR1. This also means that amazingly, the GT-R is one of the fastest production cars to ever lap the Nordschleife, placing it at the sharp end of a list that includes both exotic two-seater supercars and stripped out track-spec machinery.


Nissan GT-R engines are hand built by race engineers
Despite being one of the most technologically advanced production cars in the world, each one of the Nissan GT-R’s engines are built entirely by hand by one of Nissan’s four Takumi. These Takumi are more than just experts, they are perfectionists, who are also responsible for building every one of Nissan’s racing GT-R engines. They apply the same level of meticulous detail to each and every engine, whether it is destined for the road or track.
The Nissan GT-R has near 50:50 weight distribution
In order to achieve perfect balance, Nissan’s engineers worked hard to ensure the GT-R’s weight distribution is comparable to that of a racing car. With the lightweight V6 up front and the transaxle sitting between the rear wheels, the weight distribution is split between front and rear almost perfectly. This brings a wealth of benefits to the car, enabling tremendous traction and sharper handling thanks to the car’s much flatter posture.
The GT-R is more slippery than a Ferrari 458 Italia
You might not believe it, but the four-seat GT-R is more slippery through the air than Ferrari’s 458 Italia supercar. With a drag coefficient of just 0.27, Nissan’s GT-R beats the 458 by 0.06 despite sitting 6.1 inches higher than the Ferrari’s 47.8in roof line. The GT-R’s clever aerodynamics ensure that air resistance is minimised, whilst working the air in such a way that downforce is maximised at high speed.

The GT-R’s gearbox changes gear as fast a Ferrari Enzo’s
Just like the Ferari Enzo, it takes only 150ms to change gear in a Nissan GT-R. However, unlike the Enzo, the GT-R’s twin-clutch paddleshift gearbox can be adjusted to change gear less harshly, or even driven in full automatic mode. The GT-R’s gearbox is incredibly versatile, with the ability to shift like a supercar, or gently slide its way up the cogs.
The GT-R is better in the snow than an SUV
When it snows, don’t bother reaching for the X5’s keys; you’ll be better off taking the GT-R. With its ‘ATTESA E-TS’ torque-vectoring four-wheel-drive system, power to the GT-R’s wheels can be adjusted independently. This means in seriously low traction scenarios, the wheels with most grip will be utilised by the car’s intelligent system.
The technology wasn’t primarily designed for snow however; instead the independent four-wheel torque vectoring system was designed to help maximise traction off the line as well as at speed. The impressive acceleration times therefore owe thanks to this system.

The GT-R’s suspension geometry can be adjusted at just the flick of a switch
The Nissan GT-R is fitted with complex suspension that allows the car to maintain stability at over 190mph, or ride without complaint across broken city tarmac. The GT-R’s Bilstein DampTronic dampers feature sensors that enable the firmness to be adjusted at each corner in accordance with the driving conditions.
With the system set to R mode, the dampers work to ensure the body stays flat and the car maintains a solid ride. Whilst in Sport and Comfort modes, the dampers react to ensure the car maintains composure, whilst absorbing the bumps and inconsistent surfaces of public roads.
The Nissan GT-R is less thirsty than an Alfa Romeo 147
Okay so it’s the 147 GTA model, but the GT-R’s claimed figure still trumps the GTA’s 23.3 combined mpg by 0.7mpg, despite being significantly faster and heavier. Matching the GT-R’s number will be harder in the real world, of course, but there are rumours the next generation GT-R will be fitted with a hybrid electric motor, which would be sure to boost power and efficiency further. Could we one day see a GT-R achieving 30mpg?
The 2014 GT-R’s nitrogen tyres can withstand a puncture at 124mph
With all this technological wizardry, it would be insane to forget about the single point of contact between the car and road. Thankfully Nissan hasn’t forgotten, and due to having specifically designed run-flat tyres, the 2014 GT-R is being developed to withstand a flat tyre at a terrifying 124mph. These tyres not only bring added safety to driving, but also provide extra stability through less tyre wall flex, improving handling and increasing steering feedback.
Added to this increased tyre strength, Nissan also chooses to inflate its rubber with Nitrogen instead of compressed air. Nitrogen brings several improvements over air, but perhaps most significantly is its ability to remain at a stable pressure even under extreme temperature change. This means during times of fast driving, the tyres are less likely to overheat, therefore providing better grip for even longer.

After touching a steep low in monthly sales owing to a petrol only portfolio, Honda India skewed upwards with the introduction of Brio hatchback. Honda learnt its lesson and soon introduced the first diesel model for Indian market, the Amaze. Over the years, the company has launched various models based on the Brio platform and is readying to bring a new SUV dubbed BR-V built on the same versatile platform...




EXTERIOR:-



A flat bonnet, assertive face and sharp window line contribute towards a sporty SUV like semblance. Most of the styling is done at front which gets a noticeable front chrome grille and lean swooping head lamp units. Black finished fog lamp housing with fog lights and sporty side skirts add to the muscular look. Black cladding all around is another smart addition to the exteriors. The overall appearance of the SUV is sleek and low. Unlike other SUVs that get mundane flanks, BR-V features a contemporary looking side view.



The sharp and narrow window line makes the SUV appear longer. Rear too has been styled uniquely, the tail lamps run throughout the trunk and a thick chrome band is also placed at the back. Rear spoiler reinforces the sporty stance and reflectors are placed on black cladding. 






INTERIOR:-



A healthy wheelbase of 2,652 mm infers generous space across rows. The seven seater SUV will come with a three-row layout. Interiors styling is likely to be done tastefully, featuring a dual tone colour scheme garnished by chrome. Honda will offer various storage points within the cabin, however luggage space is expected to be confined. 



The BR-V will be launched in a seven-seat arrangement and three-row configuration and Honda claims class-leading levels of space with this vehicle. The equipment list in the cabin will be updated, but will be in line with the current cabin layout of cars from Honda's portfolio. The quality of materials will also be upgraded to make it more premium and up-market. We can expect features such as multi-Information display and rear air conditioner between the first and second row seats.

PERFORMANCE AND ENGINE:-




Honda’s 1.5 litre,four cylinder, SOHC, i-VTEC petrol engine will power the petrol variants, top power and torque output on offer is likely  to around 117bhp & 146Nm respectively. For diesel version, Honda will employ the 1.5 litre i-DTEC diesel engine developing 99bhp and 200Nm. Both the engines will be mated to a conventional five-speed manual tranny and a CVT option is also on cards for the new BR-V range.

This appears steep, but the Mirai is among the most advanced road cars on sale right now. Prospective customers can also look forward to a 28-38 lakhs government-backed subsidy as well as a comprehensive 24-hour, seven-day-a week concierge service and an extensive five-year/100,000-mile warranty that includes roadside assistance. 



Don’t expect Prius levels of market penetration, though. With production limited to just 700 cars this year, Toyota says initial volumes will be restricted to just 12 in the UK, followed by a further 18 next year.

The starting point for the Mirai is the Prius Plus. The two cars share the same high-strength steel platform, MacPherson strut front and double wishbone rear suspension and 2780mm wheelbase.

EXTERIOR:-



With exaggerated exterior styling elements, including two large air ducts that dominate the front end, it certainly looks distinctive. It’s fairly big at 4890mm long, 1815mm wide and 1535mm high. Without the need to package hot exhausts within the underbody, Toyota has provided the Mirai with a flat undertray. But with a drag co-efficient of just 0.29, its aerodynamic efficiency lags behind that of the competition.  

INTERIOR:-



The Mirai uses a single electric motor delivering 152bhp and 208lb ft. It is essentially the same unit used in the Lexus 450h and is mounted transversely in the engine bay along with the power control electronics, where it provides drive to the front wheels via a fixed-ratio gearbox. 

The fuel cell stack, which uses a combination of oxygen captured from the air and hydrogen to create the electricity used to power the electric motor, is mounted underneath the front seats. Produced in-house at Toyota, it is claimed to possess a specific output of 2.0kW/kg – a 50% improvement in the electrical energy-producing efficiency of Toyota’s initial fuel cell stack revealed in 2008.

Key to the high efficiency is a patented 3D cell design which is claimed to clear waste water away from the surface of the electrode faster than previous cell designs achieved. As such, there is an improved flow of oxygen to the catalyst layer and an increased production of electricity.

The fuel cell stack, which is housed in a titanium case and weighs just 57kg, can operate in temperatures as low as -30deg C. It is also claimed to possess a similar lifespan as a conventional internal combustion engine. Toyota expects it to provide up to 300,000 miles of motoring before it requires overhauling.



Two separate carbonfibre and glassfibre tanks are used to store the hydrogen – one mounted under the front seat and the other behind the rear seats. Together they provide a combined capacity of 122.4 litres, which is enough to allow the Mirai to provide a claimed range of more than 400 miles. Refilling the tanks takes three to five minutes.

The relatively small 1.6kWh nickel-metal hydride battery used to store electrical energy recuperated on the run and produced by the fuel cell stack sits above the second hydrogen tank at the rear. 

The striking exterior styling carries over to the interior, which features a modern-looking dashboard with two TFT displays – one under the windscreen housing the speedo and power display functions, and another touchscreen device atop the centre console for infotainment. Elsewhere sits some less contemporary-looking switchgear sourced from various Toyota models.



The quality throughout the spacious cabin is similar to that of the outgoing third-generation Prius, with a variety of hard and soft-touch plastics as well as some less than dazzling graphics. It all feels solidly built, if a little cheap given the high price. With the fuel cell stack sited underneath the front seats, you sit rather high, although this affords good vision to each corner, making the Mirai easy to manoeuvre.



The long wheelbase provides plenty of room leg room in the rear seats, although it’s a strict four-seater, while boot space is limited to 361 litres by the battery and second hydrogen fuel tank behind the rear seat backs.

Given the complexity of the technology at play, the Mirai is extraordinarily straightforward to drive. As with the latest breed of electric cars, you press the start button, draw the stubby gear lever into drive and set off with a light nudge of the accelerator pedal.



Progress is ultra-smooth and, apart from a faint synthetically generated whine from the speakers under load, all but silent. Despite tipping the scales at 1850kg, step-off is quite brisk, making the Mirai well suited to stop/start city traffic. However, the performance quickly levels off, providing a claimed 0-62mph time of 9.6sec and top speed of just 111mph.

By sighting most of the heavy elements low down in its structure, the Mirai has greater agility and poise than you might expect. The ride is much improved over the Prius's, being more supple, smoother and with better body control. Bumps in the road don't disturb the smooth driving experience as much as they do its hybrid sibling. 



The steering is rather devoid of feedback but is quite direct in response and the chassis possess sufficient damping control to provide progressive body movements when you thread the new saloon along more challenging roads.


Toyota considers fuel cell technology to be more suited to larger cars required to run longer distances rather than urban-based runabouts, which it says are better suited to existing plug-in hybrid technology.



This is reflected in the Mirai's on-road characteristics. With double-glazing on the side windows and a noise-reducing device that helps to cancel tyre roar, the Mirai isolates its occupants from wind and road noise well. Thanks to this excellent refinement and the elastic nature of its power delivery, the new four-seater is genuinely relaxing to operate.

What it lacks, though, is its own intrinsic character. Like most electrically propelled cars, the new Toyota proves a little too one-dimensional to really elicit any excitement on the part of the driver. It is highly competent, no doubt, but not the sort of car you are likely to be itching to drive simply for the sake of it. Still, with its only emission being water, the Mirai makes a bold environmental statement that many will be keen to pursue.



As with the original Prius, it is going to appeal to both early adopters and businesses seeking to provide themselves with an eco-friendly image.

The Nissan GT-R has a varied history. Although it has always had a strong following, some models to wear the GT-R badge haven’t always made the grade. But when Nissan do it well, they do it very, very well. Back in 1969, the 2.0-litre Skyline saloon was the first Nissan to wear a GT-R badge.

A coupé followed in 1971 and a replacement model, with production limited to 197 units, in 1973. And that was the end of the GT-R until a Skyline more like the one we know appeared in 1990, with a twin-turbo straight six.Homologated to let Nissan go racing, the R32 was claimed to have 280bhp, as were the R33 (1994) and R34 (1999) successors. GT-R buyers in the UK should beware – there are plenty of imported GT-Rs floating around on the used market of greatly varying quality. We’d prefer to stick to the cars brought across by Nissan itself, and that’s what our test is based on.

When we tested the 473bhp grey-imported GT-R it caused quite a stir; it demolished pretty much every challenge we laid before it, including being crowned the winner of our annual Best Driver’s Car shootout. The official 523bhp version of the car turns the GT-R into a super supercar.

The GT-R has always had price on its side. It’s not a cheap car: it’s better value for money than cars that are seemingly as fast, and it can outperform cars of a similar price. Seems too good to be true.

EXTERIOR:-



Hiroshi Hasegawa, Nissan’s chief product designer, says “it is clearly not an Italian, German or American car” and that “it’s very mechanical, almost like an animated robot”, and is “obviously made from metal”, thanks to its big shoulders and hefty muscularity. Those features help place this wide car and contribute to an excellent drag coefficient of 0.27. 

There are also cues from previous GT-Rs. The round rear lights are a continuation of the lineage and the front grille is reminiscent of the most recent model, the R34.
     


To most observers it is not a car that elicits 'oohs' and 'aahs' of admiration for its beauty, but there is no doubting in anyone's mind that, on laying eyes on the GT-R, everyone will know that it is a car with very special levels of performance on tap.

For those wishing to fully exploit this performance in a suitable environment, Nissan introduced the Track Pack option for the GT-R in 2012. For another £10,000 over the standard car, the Track Pack features firmer springs, lighter Nismo wheels and improved brake cooling.

Nissan has also removed the rear seats, saving a total of 20kg when combined with the new alloys. The drivetrain is carried over to the Track Pack unchanged.

INTERIOR:-



The interiors of Nissan GT-Rs of the past have always been a somewhat secondary consideration. The same applies to this version to a certain extent, but there’s a sophistication to the modern GT-R’s cabin that was absent in earlier versions.

And even if the quality of the materials in this new car can’t match the best that European rivals have to offer, there is an endearing Japanese efficiency and even a degree of charm to the way the GT-R does things. The bewildering array of screens and data readouts on the center console are matched by a similar number of switches and buttons – they could only come from Japan, as, too, could the choice of metal-look plastic trim on the fascia and doors.



Nissan hasn’t pandered to European conventions, and the GT-R’s cabin is all the better for it. This isn’t a car that’s looking for the panache and lushness of something like a 911, it’s meant to be a technological tour-de-force and to that extent Nissan has done a good job with the cabin.



The GT-R’s front seats are spectacularly good, and although one of our testers suffered mild back ache after driving a considerable distance, it wasn’t a common complaint and is as likely to be induced by the ride as by the seats. The driving position itself is easily electrically adjusted, while the wheel – brilliantly sized and sculpted – adjusts amply for reach and rake.



This is a four-seater, but even Nissan admits the rear seats are best for kids, and when that happens you know you’re in for a squeeze. Head room is at a premium and rear leg room almost disappears if the driver’s seat is set comfortably for anyone over 6ft tall. The boot is big enough for two sets of golf clubs but the access hatch is small.

PERFORMANCE:-




It’s difficult to know which impresses most: the outright level of performance the Nissan GT-R offers or how accessible it makes it. The latest version of this constantly updated car delivers 523bhp and a 0-60mph time below three seconds.


No wonder, then, that this is a car in which it’s easy to go incredibly fast. This is partly due to the traction advantages of all-wheel drive and the GT-R’s clever torque-shuffling differentials, and partly to the dual-clutch gearbox. One of the three dashboard-mounted toggle switches alters the gearbox mode from Snow to R, changing the shift speed and pattern, while sliding the gear lever or pulling on the wonderful fixed paddles switches the ’box from automatic to manual. 



Manual (in which the GT-R will not kick down) and R (which lets the engine run to the limiter) offers the best control for track driving or on roads you know well. But in other, more give and take conditions the automatic mode works a treat.

In R mode its ability to judge and deliver jerk-free downchanges is exceptional and gives a level of on-demand performance more akin to a big V12 than a relatively small-capacity turbocharged engine. The transmission’s party piece, though, is full-bore upshifts.

It’s not without fault, though. Because there’s no creep function, parking needs a very gentle touch on the throttle. And tight manoeuvring produces wince-inducing noises from the diff when it’s cold. However, it’s pretty much as easy as any other Nissan to dawdle around town in, if you can live with the stiff ride.




The brakes, by contrast, are beyond criticism, providing a reassuring ability to shed speed, despite the GT-R’s weight, needing just 40.9m to stop from 70mph. Almost more impressive is the excellent pedal feel and response.

The Ford Mondeo is structured as one of the most marvelous family cars ever to be released. They are complete with LED, turn indicators and courtesy lights to ensure that form and function go in perfect blend. Its rear portion is lifted slightly, giving it a beautiful, streamlined poise that glides with flawless harmony. It allows its audience to explore options for far deeper personalization, giving a range of paint options from ruby read to magnetic metallic additions. It has a well honed sculpt by its sides, giving it an expensive touch from all sides. Large fenders guard the wheels, which are available in a range of distinctive options that differ both on size and on their design. But the wheels' sizes can range between 17 inch and 19 inch for the best alternatives offered to its driver. This machine's elegance is pushed to new bounds with a panoramic glass roof that enables a touch of luxury from the outside, and a great deal of peace for the passengers on the inside.

INTERIOR:-



The cabin of this machine is suited for providing the finest comforts to its passengers all through the ride. The insides of its cabin are large and spacious, with a layout of the best of all features integrated together. The seats are large and well cushioned, built on a sophisticated ergonomic architecture. Electrically adjustable seats add to the comfort quotient of the passengers, and this is also aided by a heating function. Manual seat controls with a lumbar function make sure that the radiant atmosphere of the car's inside is pushed to its very finest, and that nothing is left unturned when searching for the right premise to astound its passengers.

 All of this is accompanied by fine leather upholstery that houses the best comfort and luxury for the passengers. The signature 'Mondeo Interior' describes the beauty that the inside of the machine builds for its passengers.

ENGINE AND PERFORMANCE:-


It comes with petrol and diesel trims. For the petrol powered variant, an efficient Ecoboost engine powers the car. This is available in 1.5-litre and a 2.0-litre version. The 1.5-litre Ecoboost engine delivers a peak power of 157.8bhp and a peak torque of 240Nm. It bursts to a top speed of around 222 kmph, and can cross naught to 100 kmph within 9 seconds. As for the 2.0-litre Ecoboost engine, the power touches a maximum value of 236.7bhp, and the torque peaks at 340Nm. The engine fires the vehicle to a top speed of 240 Kmph. Furthermore, it can whoosh past the 100 Kmph mark in just 7.9 seconds, an amazing achievement for a family car. Now for the Duratorq engines. The 1.6-litre mill produces a maximum power of 113.4bhp, and a peak torque of 270Nm. It carries the vehicle to a top speed of 193 Kmph. Its acceleration rate is also good at 12.1 seconds. As for the 2.0-litre Duratorq variant, the power peaks at 147.9bhp, while the torque astounds at 350Nm. It allows the vehicle to scale top speeds of near 215 Kmph, and to shoot past the 100 Kmph mark in just around 9 seconds.

The Maruti Suzuki Swift has been one of the most popular cars sold by the Indo-Japanese carmaker. It has been nearly 12 year since the car was first launched in India but the Swift is still a best seller in the market. Currently the company is working on the new generation Swift, which is likely to reach the Indian market later in 2017. Recently some design images of the next-gen Swift hatchback and Swift Sport have surfaced the internet, giving us a glimpse of what to expect from the 2017 models. The new generation Maruti Suzuki Swift is likely to make its public appearance at this year's 2016 Paris Motor Show. What's interesting is the fact that the first generation Swift hatchback that was launched in 2004 also broke cover at the Paris Motor Show.

EXTERIOR:-




The exterior look so well and good designed.Judging from the leaked images one can't deny that fact that the new generation Swift is likely to pick some styling cues from the Baleno. The car looks sleeker and much more stylish compared to the outgoing model that is sold across various markets including India. Among the new additions you'll find that the new-gen Suzuki Swift will come with an all-new front fascia with a large hexagonal grille, large air intakes, new stylish sweptback headlamps, and sculpted bonnet. The side profile on the other hand features a new sporty set of rims, flare wheel arches and a slopping roofline that not only gives it a coupe like effect but with floating-roof that car will allow Maruti to offer customization options like in the Brezza.

INTERIOR:-


It is a DC designed interior however it can be changed. It has front ac wents , good can space, driver and passenger airbag and normal media functions. In addition to that Inside the cabin, the new Swift shows more upmarket details spruced up with new multifunction steering wheel, twin pod instrument cluster with Multi- information Display (MID) and touchscreen infotainment system and HVAC control 



It looks good in the inside, it has capacity of 4+1 people,
the seats are obviously made of leather. 

s far as the powertrain of the new Swift is concerned, there is no information about the engine of the model. However, the report indicates that the next-gen Swift includes 1.0-litre Boosterjet petrol engine under the hood. The India-bound model of the Swift is likely to get a 1.2-litre petrol and a 1.3-litre diesel engine.


If rumours are anything to go by, the new Swift could make its global debut in 2017 and India launch is likely in the same year.

The SLK 55 AMG – the epitome of a roadster with the heart of a top athlete. Evidence of the power harnessed by its AMG engine is hinted at on the outside by the V8 lettering on the front wings. The heart of a sports car is its engine. In the SLK 55 AMG, the AMG 5.5-litre V8 engine beats impressively in tune with the AMG SPEEDSHIFT PLUS 7G-TRONIC automatic transmission, offering an output of 310 kW (421 hp), a torque of 540 Nm and the best fuel consumption figures.

 

The SLK 55 AMG owes its outstanding driving dynamics to a host of willing helpers. The Direct-Steer system, for instance, makes for precise steering manoeuvres, while ESP® Dynamic Cornering Assist 1 allows controlled cornering at the critical limits. In this case, the inner rear wheel is braked specifically for a brief period, allowing the car to bank into the bend, thus enhancing both agility and active safety. The AMG sports suspension, equipped with AMG-specific springs, dampers and torsion bar, also helps to achieve this effect. To tame the engine’s incredible power, the SLK 55 AMG is fitted with the AMG high-performance brake system. The front brakes feature 4-piston fixed callipers with internally ventilated and perforated 360 x 36 mm discs for short stopping distances, while the rear brakes have 1-piston floating callipers with 330 x 22 mm discs. Because driving  enjoyment is also about stopping at the right moment.


Although the SLK 55 AMG is already unique, it can be further individualised in the Performance Studio. Various equipment options can be selected to bring the sporty, expressive appearance and outstanding performance even further to the fore.

A visit to the AMG Performance Studio represents the crowning glory for any AMG Mercedes. Various equipment options make the SLK 55 AMG an even sportier proposition, a case in point being the Handling package comprising compound front brake discs, performance suspension,
a rear axle differential lock for optimum roadholding and the performance steering wheel trimmed with Microfibre in the grip area. 





Equally expressive are the 45.7 cm 10-spoke AMG light-alloy wheels – painted in either titanium grey with a high-sheen finish or matt black with a rim flange sporting a high-sheen finish. The optionally available AMG Line lends the SLK a dynamic look which starts on the exterior with the dynamic AMG front apron with LED daytime running lamps and the headlamps with dark edging, plus the powerful side sill panels. The theme continues with the striking rear apron and the dark-tinted tail lights. High-sheen AMG light-alloy wheels with 225/40 R 18 front and 245/35 R 18 rear tyres complete the look. The sports suspension (including lowering by 10 mm) tangibly enhances lateral dynamics. For the 4-cylinder in-line models, the larger brakes with perforated discs and “Mercedes-Benz” lettering on the callipers ensure even more effective deceleration.
